Role-playing in the Dune universe

These pages describe a comprehensive and completely free system for role-playing set in the universe of Frank Herbert's Dune books.

The rules system used is TWURPS, a generic and equally free role-playing game. Adaptations of the basic TWURPS system to the Dune universe are described in TWURPS Dune, which is in fact an example of a Background as described in the TWURPS rules. This document assumes knowledge of the TWURPS rules, although it should be possible to adapt the rules to any other role-playing system. With the exception of the scenarios, all the other information on these pages is rules-free background and therefore applicable to any game.
